On and off over the years, I've suffered from bloating, stress, and intolerance to certain foods, without understanding, if what was happening was normal, what might be going on internally or how I could take control to manage external reactions.

 

For too long the gut has been the body's most ignored and least appreciated organ, and over recent years there have been numerous books and publications explaining the connection between the brain and gut, which I have found too scientific and difficult to digest into useable knowledge I can fit into my daily lifestyle.
